create art with tina thieme brown

I teach in a variety of regional nature centers, parks and occasionally in my Barnesville art studio.

I offer art workshops wherever you find inspiration from nature.  Have fun drawing leaves, nuts and any wild element from a natural setting on a sketchbook page. I love connecting people to nature through art, contact me to book a workshop and check out my Events page for where I am teaching this season. I describe my approach to teaching in this video, Montgomery Heartland, Episode 2.

How it Works

Workshops offer you the chance to slow down and create art for yourself. Spend the day working with Tina as she teaches you how to create drawings of natural elements found outside.

  • Workshops are typically five hours long, from 10am-3pm.

  • Tina demonstrates in a variety of mediums: graphite, color pencils, or pen and ink with watercolor.

  • Relax and enjoy the process of looking closely as we draw and paint.

  • You are free to gather natural elements that you would like to use in your drawing and print.

  • No previous art experience is required, beginners are encouraged.
