Watercolors are pigments and binder floating in water.
One spring day I drove past Kingsbury Orchard on Peachtree Road, when the peach trees were in bloom. In the distance, a violet-blue ridge and light-green geometric crop rows set off the colors in the flowering fruit trees. I’m not sure I will ever forget those rosy-pink blossoms cascading throughout the orchard. I knew I had to paint it in watercolor.
